Bellaband For Holding Up Your Pants
Posted on 28. Jan, 2010 by Kate in Maternity

One of the worst things about being pregnant is the constantly falling down pants. Well, maybe not the worst – there’s always the heartburn, the leg cramps, the nausea…you get the picture. However, pants that migrate down your hips to expose your bum are not fun either.
I’ve got only one pair of pants that DON’T fall down and they are so tight around my waist that in the last trimester they are virtually unwearable. Well, to be fair, I wear them, but I unbutton them to do so which in turn makes them fall down.
Enter the Bellaband. This thing is really a godsend. It’s a tube top for your belly, fitting around the top of your pants and up your waist (or not, if you don’t want it to).
I wore the Bellaband in the beginning of my pregnancy when my regular, non-preggo pants still fit everywhere else but the waist. It held them in place just fine while they were unbuttoned. And, as the belly grows, the Bellaband keeps doing its thing, fitting over even maternity pants that may not have much elastic in the waist.
What’s best is that AFTER the baby comes and you no longer want to wear pregnancy clothes, the Bellaband again works its magic on your regular clothes even with that big hunk of skin that sits right above your hips…you know the one that takes months to go away, no matter what you do.
