Do you find yourself spending endless hours in front of the mirror trying to decide what to wear in the morning? Well, those hours add up! A new study has found that over a lifetime the average woman spends about 287 days picking out the right clothes. Yes, nearly an entire year is spent on women’s wardrobes.
Researchers have found that women spend an average of 16 minutes each weekday morning rifling through their closets and about 14 minutes per day on the weekend.
According to a study by clothing company Matalan, if a woman is deciding what to wear out for a night on the town, it takes an average of 20 minutes. Deciding on what clothes to take on vacation can take up to 52 minutes each time.
Now I want to see a study done on how fast it takes women with children to get ready in the morning. I’d be willing to bet that women with children get themselves ready a whole lot faster than the single girls. Of course, getting out of the house quickly is another story altogether.
