Home Security on Your Phone

If you’re traveling this holiday season then you might want to check out the latest in home security technology – monitoring your home from your phone. That’s right, you can now use your mobile phone to stay on top of what’s going on in your home while you are away.

There are a number of new alarm systems that can be programmed to send you a text or e-mail message when your door is opened, your furnace breaks or your sump pump stops working. Could be a godsend to those who suffer from frozen pipes or other potential water damage hazards. Not to mention break ins.

Oh, and, you can even disarm your alarm system from your phone if you have to let workmen or delivery people in.
