It’s Time for A Babymoon Cruise!

What is a babymoon, you ask? It’s essentially the last vacation you’ll take for years. No, seriously, it’s a vacation with you and your partner before the baby arrives – you know, to relish in those days of relative freedom before your new bundle of joy arrives.

By freedom I mean that your time is your own, to be scheduled as you see fit. Why not schedule a cruise? I’m not typically a huge cruise fan but I can see the definite advantage of “all you can eat buffet” to a pregnant woman.

And the romantic packages that some cruise lines offer are quite appealing, like the Royal Caribbean cruise that visits France, Italy, and Spain and more on its 7- Night Mediterranean Cruise, sailing April 3, 2010. Ahhh. Their “Romance Packages” with chocolates, non-alcoholic champagne, roses, breakfast in bed, and more are just part of what you can get. And when is the next time you’ll visit 3 foreign countries with relative ease?

Now, all cruise lines have pregnancy guidelines. Typically, you cannot sail past 24 weeks of your pregnancy, but to check individual policies check out All Things Cruise. For more information on what cruises are available, check out CruiseCompete.com.
