Local Libraries Are the Best

Here’s a shout out to the San Francisco Public Libraries. We just came back from a sing-along for toddlers and the children’s reading room. What fun for a foggy morning! I don’t know about the public libraries around the country, but I think most systems at least try to have some fun activities for kids.

Check out yours! We actually visit our local library a lot – they have tons of puzzles, crayons and paper, and of course lots of books for curious minds (and hands). And it’s free! Just a reminder for the next time you’re stick and home and don’t know what to do with your kid.

I wish my local library had more kid stuff going on. I live in the boonies in Arizona and while the library does carry some good books, it’s pretty light on the acitivies. :-(
