After three years and two children, I’ve finally (finally!) installed this puffer fish mobile in the baby’s room. I think it’s worth the wait! Maybe I’m rationalizing my procrastination a bit here, but the mobile fits just perfectly where it is now. Then again, anywhere would be better than all tangled up in the toy bin, now wouldn’t it?
It took me so long to figure out how to safely hang it from the ceiling without making a hole. See, we can’t make a hole in our ceiling so I was stumped as how to get it up without it being some huge ordeal or strangulation hazard (note: it’s former home in the toy bin was indeed a strangulation hazard).
However, when I was at the hardware store I picked up a picture hanging hook that uses some technologically advanced sticky tape to hold large things on the wall without making holes and I thought – hmmm, I wonder if I can attach that to the ceiling. Up I climbed and voila! It’s now up.
What do you think? I just love it. And the baby does, too. And her older sister. Who knew it would make all of us so happy?
