Sometimes, it’s kind of fun to see how “the other half” lives. Although we’re well aware that celebrities have the luxury of working with teams of nannies, decorators, trainers, assistants, and a multi-person glam squad, it’s still interesting to see what the fruits of all those staff members’ labor looks like when all is said and done. That goes for the way stars look on the red carpet as well as the rooms to which they retreat afterward.

Moses and Apple’s mom (not to mention Coldplay frontman Chris Martin’s wife), Gwyneth Paltrow, used a sublime lavender and white palette to decorate the bedroom shown above from the couple’s home in the Hamptons, shared with us by Better Homes and Gardens.

The layered look is all the rage right now. Good thing it’s winter and layers sort of naturally go or else I really would be stumped at how to do it right.

Here’s Sarah Jessica Parker looking pulled together but completely relaxed and natural in all her layers. Oh, and her little bundle of joy looks dashing, too, all decked out in pink, don’t you think?
