The Emerson Doll House: Beautiful Fun

by Kate on August 20, 2010

We’re looking for a house to buy and I think I’ve found it. The Emerson House. Truly, it’s move in ready and just what we’re wanting – modern, sustainable, eco-friendly. Too bad it’s tiny. No really, like tiny tiny. Doll house tiny.

It’s made by Brinca Dada whose slogan says it all: beautiful fun.

The house is a mid-century modernists dream – here, you can see for yourself.

Plus, the Emerson House is eco-friendly with non toxic paint, solar panels to charge the battery which runs the LED lights and made of CARB certified wood. Apparently, no US company would even give them a quote to build it…c’mon America, get with the program. It was eventually made in China.

It is a lot of house, don’t you think? And did you see all that cool furniture??? Love it. Of course, it IS expensive and the design aesthetic may be lost on the little hands who play with it, but as an adult, it sure is fun to look at.

You can purchase the Emerson House for $299 from the Brinca Dada website.
